I'm very happy to announce that I have received a Rosebud Award for my video "The Tapes of My Father" from the Rosebud Film & Video Festival. The Festival seeks out "innovative, experimental, and deeply personal" films from D.C., Virginia, and Maryland filmmakers. I think my movie fit well into Rosebud's "deeply personal" criterion. NTH as music video . . . a first. I wrote this song in response to the creepy human reproduction animations used in this week’s episode. The episode touches on the theme of promiscuity, but is more concerned with the vagaries and mystery of selecting a mate.
