Yep, a crowd-pleaser this one. NTH: Winner is in the Rosebud showcase – 1/12/13 at 5:15 – Artisphere, Arlington, VA!

This Saturday marks the 6th time I’ve been honored as a Rosebud Film and Video Festival Nominee. Season 2 “Next To Heaven: Winner” will be screened at 5:15 pm at Dome Theatre at Artisphere, Arlington, VA. The showcase includes 18 other films and runs from 2 pm to 6:30.

Rosebud is an annual competition open exclusively to DC, Maryland, and Virginia film and video producers. The festival seeks to honor the innovative, experimental, unusual, and deeply personal in creative film and video making.

To commemorate the milestone and to attempt to add a few attendees to Saturday’s screening, I’m re-posting the three Next To Heaven films that have won the Rosebud Award. First up, 2007’s winner – “Next To Heaven: The Tapes of My Father.”

Suicide. Unrequited love. Deception. Obsession. The end of the Earth, and dispersion of the Universe. So ends Season 2 of Next To Heaven . . . Enjoy!
